So I'm not really sure WHY I started doing this, but for some reason I got the idea to try to find this film with Jean-Pierre Armand in it that I knew about from downloading like... some random clip from the film off of like... Kazaa or something a long time.
I haven't seen the clip in ... a VERY long time since this was a long time ago and I've been through multiple computers/hard drives since then. But I've always really wanted to see that scene again and miss it and I knew it was from a longer film because it went into the next scene before cutting off, and I also had that scene, but I found that way later on some forum and it ALSO leaked into a third scene before cutting off...
Anyway, I randomly think of this film/scene a lot and have tried to find it several times, but JP Armand was in like over 400 films or something so pinpointing it is kinda hard.
The best solution I really can think of is to go onto IAFD and go to a listing of all of JP's films, then try to find screenshots of each film and see if it's the right one. But yeah, there's a lot.
There are some clues, of course -- the second scene has Alban Ceray in it (though there are still tons of films with both of them) and JP's scene is a threesome scene. Sometimes on IAFD the films will have scene breakdowns that list each sex scene and who all is involved together in that scene, so you can tell what scenes are threesomes or whatever. Plus each film has a cast listing, of course. So if I click one and see Alban Ceray is in it, then I can look at the scene breakdown to see if there's a JP threesome followed by an Alban Ceray scene.
But there's a few major problems with this. Well, all of those problems can be summed up by saying IAFD is wrong a lot. Sometimes even the film titles are wrong (like it will have the cast/scenes/etc. of a different film than what the title is lol...). But yeah it's very likely that the scene breakdown might be wrong, or might not even exist at all, or that JP or Ceray will just not be credited on IAFD or something... stuff like that. It's bad.
Anyway, the other clue I had is just... going by how aged JP looked, I figured it was near the end of his career. But the film didn't seem like 2000s-style porn, so I figured it would be something like... right around 1997-1998. I'd usually start at like 1996 and start clicking random films. Unlike Hollywood films, of course, it doesn't take long to film a porno, especially in the 90s, and a lot of footage was reused between films, too, so an actor can easily be credits for like 20+ films per year.
And 1996 is just a GUESS. I have almost 30 years of films to wade through. And that's just what is on IAFD. The film I'm looking for could possibly not even be listed there. (There's another, slightly higher quality porn film database, but the administrators are pretentious assholes and make a bunch of weird rules about what is allowed and how things should be named so it's really hard to find things on there, and they don't even list the male actors except as like an extra note on each film -- you can't search for them or anything... IAFD is pretty much anything-goes and they just take user submissions for the content so it's like a moderated wiki and yeah there are mistakes galore, but if a film has like 17 different releases across the world, most of those names will be on IAFD, even misspellings!)
ANYWAY. Now that I spent several paragraphs on porn backstory, I'll get to what I was actually saying.
For some reason I was like "I'll just start AT THE BEGINNING and look through EVERY SINGLE JP ARMAND FILM on IAFD!" I figured I could take note of where I left off somehow and continue later.
And since there could be errors, and since there was a few little periods of time where JP wore a beard or mustache, I may as well look up every last film and find screenshots and stuff to see what he looked like.
YEAH IDK WHAT DROVE ME TO DO THIS.
So I went through... every... last one...
And along the way, I learned some interesting things. Like that he pretty much never wore a mustache outside those two films early in his career......... UNTIL VERY LATE when he had a circle beard once (in an incest film~) and then had a mustache again for like another two films or so. I actually kinda stopped looking at screencaps for a lot of the later films because I could tell from the titles/studios they were just modern porn (e.g. "Buttman 17" lmfao) and I didn't need to look. But now I'm curious if he had more facial hair for a bit...? I think it was around 1998?
I also was reminded that Alban Ceray had a mustache for a time. I've only seen it pop up in one film (and I even remember looking at other films around that time and couldn't find any more with mustaches so it may very well have been that ONE film and I've seen it and it's not that great LOL)
Anyway, after all that... I FOUND THE STUPID FILM YAY
It was the fifth to last listen on IAFD so I had to go through every last single one almost ;;;;;;;;;;;;;; But I found it...!!! And I even found a place to download it...!!! It's hosted on depositfiles though so it's taking forever and I'm scared it's going to die before it can get downloaded, especially with how my internet has been today...
It doesn't look like this is a very good copy but I'll take what I can get XD
Also it seems like the other guy in the scene with JP is Dominique Aveline which I'm SUPER surprised about because it doesn't look like him??? Though there's a huge gap in his activity on IAFD at least between this film (from 2001) and his film before that (from 1989). And he only has two films from after 2000 and the rest are 89 and earlier. And yeah, I've only really seen him from like the 70s/80s, even moreso the 70s, honestly. So I guess it makes sense I won't recognize him when he's a lot older and has a gray beard and stuff.
Anyway EXCITEMENT. It still has over an hour to go and the internet keeps going in and out T_T
