So Romancing SaGa 2 is being released in English on Steam &c in less than a week! And Mega Man 11 is coming in a year. Get hype get hype!!!
I've also finished the entire play diary of the first ROCKMAN, which is over here. And Harvey is coming along well, too.
I'm at a bit of a crossroads on what I want to do about RSG2 when it's released, though. I don't know if I want to do my first play diary as a blind run, or play on my own through once and then do a play diary later. None of my play diaries have really been blind runs yet, so that would be cool.
At the same time, I'm wanting to get back into Scarlet Grace, and I already started a new game (yet again) in it and have been having fun. I don't really think I can juggle Scarlet Grace, ROCKMAN2, Romancing SaGa 2, AND Save the Homeland all at once...
At the same time, though, I've been thinking that I should stop trying to 'force' the play diaries and instead of trying to make sure I get some of each 'current' one up at a time, just play what I want when I want and then update as I go. When I try to force them I get extremely discouraged and end up doing nothing because all my motivation disappears and I get super depressed about it lol. I kinda had a tiny version of this problem in my first playthrough of Scarlet Grace, and it got a lot better once I stopped trying to force it.
So I might go ahead and try to keep all four playthroughs "active," but instead of forcing myself to work on one if I haven't done it in a while, just go ahead and do a lot of one if that's what I feel like doing. That will keep things from going to the wayside like they did with Tokimeki Memorial 3, which was fun but I kept forcing myself to work on it when I wasn't feeling it, and Final Fantasy V which was terribly boring to write for anyway and ended up killing a lot of my enthusiasm for the entire site in general.
I also am faced with the conundrum of deciding whether to get RSG2 on Steam or Vita. Both are nice, overall I think I like having games on PC more, but I also only have one game on Vita and was kind of looking forward to this being my second. But at the same time, I'd rather play on PC, hahaha. Though there are some advantages to being able to play on Vita, like... not having to sit at the computer lmao.
I'm hoping that they decide to surprisingly release Scarlet Grace in English and do what they did with RSG2 and throw it onto other platforms. The game was made in Unity, which is pretty much made for easy multiplatform release/porting, so it shouldn't be too hard, right? The game would probably run better on PC than Vita anyway.
