Cool things about Stardew Valley that aren't in Harvest Moon:

• Poly dating


• There is an intentionally homeless freegan guy as a character


• Kiss scenes with all your girlfriends/boyfriends


• Slime monster pets

Sadly the poly dating is very limited -- you're just able to have up to 10 girlfriends/boyfriends at a time (12 when the new version patch comes out XD), but you can't form like triads or anything, though honestly programming a game system like that would be really complicated so I don't blame them XD And then if/when you decide to get married (which you'll have to for achievements XD) you're forced into monogamy and suddenly your spouse will be upset if you continue dating other people even though they were fine with it while you were dating and kissing and stuff. But once you live in the same house its BAD idk.

Well that's, interesting LOL I guess it's progress though. And yeah, I imagine it would be a programming nightmare. Hopefully someday someone wants to suffer through it though LOL
