Colts, and Isky Adventures #3
Well, I watched the second preseason game. I got to see little bits of Southward so I was happy about that XD Both this week and last week at least his name was mentioned, so hopefully he'll be sticking around and I'll get to see more of him maybe even in regular season?? Last week he would have had an interception (!) if it wasn't for a flag on the play, and this week he was just credited for a tackle which is just like... idk, normal things. Safeties don't get a lot of action so hearing his name two weeks in a row sounds good XD Hopefully they'll add some more photos of the second half of the game to the website so I can search through them and see if I can find any of him.
Kevin Graf got injured again and was crying :( :( I felt so bad for him... Joe Haeg also was injured but it seems minor hopefully... All my beardy linemen are dying lol. But Mitchell Van Dyk (the one who looks like me lol) was in for most of the second half ? and I noticed he has a tattoo across his entire upper left arm and I'm curious what it looks like.
TY Hilton wasn't even dressed for the game and I only really saw him on the sidelines like once lmao.
Anyway, I played more Dragon Age so Isky's adventures continue :D Isky Adventures 1 and 2 were on tumblr but I'm going to continue them here because it's much easier and a better platform for this kind of thing.

Isky's back! Just a reminder of how silly he looks with his boob window outfit and weird hat LOL

When I loaded the save, I was in the camp, this is where I was "stuck" because the only place I could go initiated this battle and I couldn't clear it...
Isky talked to Morrigan about her mom and it was fun and interesting and great and she approved.

There is cutscene with this guy which I don't remember his name because everyone in this game has weird names and titles and everything in this game is just weird words so I never know what's going on. He's gross and Isky doesn't like him nor does anyone but he's such a slimeball that I personally have a minor crush on him (plus his nose, look)

Isky and friends travel down the roadwhich they've attempted to travel and had to reload like 1000 times and then...

ISKY'S PUP APPEARS :D And immediately runs into a group of like 8 enemies and is swiftly killed. I think like the pup experiences permadeath because...

I actually cleared the battle. On the first try. But pup died right away. :( :( :( I finally get a dog and it gets killed... I am so sad...

Morrigan and Isky have very different views on life and learn a lot from each other.

Isky gives everyone the benefit of the doubt and extends kindness to everyone because he's Sailor Moon.

But sometimes the game doesn't give any options that Isky would actually say :P They like you to try to play the badass or the I-don't-give-a-shit character and only sometimes do they give you options to be the compassionate and forgiving character.
After Isky and friends were forced to fight the highwaymen, and forced to threaten them into giving Isky all the money (-____- I'll just pretend it didn't happen? It was either that or kill them), they went into... the town with a name that I still don't know. Which was in bad shape and as always the knight people were asshats. Actually a wide variety of asshats here. Isky tried to be reasonable with everyone but everyone hated reason, I guess.

Morrigan explains to Alistair why he's a piece of shit.

Sexy armor. This guy was not so much an ass, just doing his job and didn't really care about anything. Which being nihilistic or whatever considering the situation, I don't really blame him.

Isky and friends walk around town. The sorrow stare is making so much more sense now.

This kid needed help finding his mom who was probably dead but Isky offered to help anyway and no matter what he offered the stupid kid just was like "BUT I NEED 2 FIND ME MUM" and it's like OK WE'RE TRYING TO HELP YOU?? and eventually he just ran off so whatever.

This guy's job is to spout all the weird made-up words and terms from the game and confuse the hell out of me (and even Isky). Apparently he's not allowed to say anything else because he took a vow to only ... chant... the ... holy... thing... or whatever, and I guess he can only speak in like religious quotes idk. I don't understand the religion in this game honestly. But I do like their outfits.
Also, some guy was trying to swindle everyone out of money and a church lady was trying to stop him. Isky tried everything he could to get the guy to lower his prices but the guy wouldn't have any of it, and the game only presented me with stupid options like try to kill him, be a shit to the priest lady, or tell him to leave and not let the people have the goods they needed. So the only thing Isky could choose was the "none of my business I'm so edgie Shadow the Hedgehog is my boyfriend" option. So the guy left anyway. And then the priest lady was like "whatever I guess it can't be helped oh well!" and I was pissed off and Isky was sad. Isky is always sad. It is a sad world.

Then this distraught guy was freaking the heck out and shouting about how everyone was going to die and we should slit the children's necks because it's better than letting them live in the suffering that will come from the darkspawn which is super wtf. The guy was clearly troubled so Isky offered him kindness...

And the guy started crying and Isky learned of his woes and offered him console and love, and in the end... the guy finally just started shouting again because Isky seems to have absolutely no influence over anyone and no matter what he tries to do they end up just going back to whatever stupid thing they were originally going to do anyway.

Then Isky and friends meet Big Man. Big Man is scary and killed lots of people, but then turned himself in. I feel like that is not enough to redeem someone who killed children and stuff, but apparently the game wants you to choose whether or not to trust him (encouraging you to trust him I feel) based solely on that. He doesn't even seem to really care. But he also seems like he doesn't want to bother explaining it. Isky likes to give people more chances but he is worried about this one, and thinks maybe he should stay out of it.

But Morrigan offers an interesting perspective. It's true that they need help. And Isky thinks maybe it's better if this guy is killing darkspawn than people. Maybe really Isky should offer his hand to try to help him. Isky still feels a bit uncomfortable, but he is learning much from his friend Morrigan. Shortly after this Morrigan and Alistair got in an argument and Isky wandered around on his own offering to make traps and potions and crap for people.
This is where I stopped since I only had about an hour to play. Next Isky is going to go into the church and see if he can find Important Lady to talk about Big Man. And also go around to other places in the village he may have missed. And try to make the traps and potions.
But yeah I'm glad I was easily able to get past that part XD After this it seems I can choose a variety of tasks to work on, one includes going to Redcliffe which I might do because I think that Arl person is supposed to be there or learn about him there and for some reason when I played before I felt like that was who I wanted to go see???
