RX5 Stage Order part 2

A continuation of the previous post.
So I think for the 6th mission I am going to go with the bomb-diffusing air force mission, as it will allow us to get Wing Spiral or whatever it's called before fighting Dynamo the second time. It's not really that useful in the fight, but it is technically his weakness, so we may as well utilize it while we can. I made a point to use naked X against Dynamo, but I wonder if it would have been better to use Zero...? I don't know how well Shipuu works against Dynamo.
For the 7th mission, we can either do the space trap or the jungle mission. I think if we go to the jungle, after having defeated Dynamo and clearing the mission, we'll have finished the development for Jumper part, which will allow us to use Naked X in the space trap mission...! To get the subtank there, we need some kind of enhanced jump (from the jumper part, the flight from the Falcon Armor, or Zero's double jump). While Zero would also be fine, we need the Will Laser from X to get the armor capsule.
Naked X would certainly be a challenge for the stage -- it's much easier to fly around with the Falcon Armor in many parts. In fact, it's almost as if the stage is designed around having the Falcon Armor.
OK, I just tried it out, and jungle first was fine, then doing space with naked X was actually pretty fun. So I think that's my order! I got the 'bad' result with Zero and the shuttle, so I can't use Zero any more... guess I should just plan this type of run to be X-only?!
For the jungle stage, I took Energy+ to get the extra energy... it gives us Z-Saber+, which is useless now, but I don't care for wasting an entire parts slot on having automatic charge shots when I like lemons just as well.
For the space stage, I took Energy+, again for more energy, but also because Virus Buster is a little more fun.
Now time to revisit stages... for this part it doesn't really matter what we do, we just need to clean up the Life Ups with the Gaea Armor.
OK, got those... now it's time for the final stages.
First stage is the Shadow Devil. I started out using Falcon Armor because I didn't know what the stage was going to be (haven't gotten to this part in a long time XD) then once I realized, I started over and went with Naked X. You don't want to accidentally fly or hover, the ability to not to much else but FALL is actually nice here. And we can equip 4 parts! Well, that was pretty cool until the boss, which deals a lot of damage and I suck at dodging (when it does the part where it splits down the middle... sometimes I think some of those patterns are impossible to dodge lol). So I swapped over to Fourth Armor so I could charge special weapons... didn't remember what the charged Tri-Thunder did. Well, it wasn't useful. I'd say the Falcon Armor is probably the best here after all. Just be careful not to accidentally fly. Equipping Hypder Dash and Virus Buster is probably the best way to go here.
It ends up looking like Falcon Armor is the best thing to use through the rest of the game. Naked X is viable if you want a big challenge, but Falcon Armor is just so much easier at dealing with all the hazards.
The final boss is a little disappointing after X4's, but I have to say that Sigma's new armor is SEXY. Probably the hottest Sigma in the series...? The official artwork for it is nice, but in the game he just looks LOVELY.
So, in the end, here was my order I came up with from this playthrough study:
I. Intro Stage (Fourth Armor)
1. Magma Dive (X)
2. Electric Trap (Fourth Armor) [L]
-. Dynamo (X)
3. Military Truck (Fourth Armor) [E+]
4. Fortress Laboratory (Fourth Armor) [L+]
5. Oceanic Cave (Zero) [E+]
-. Oceanic Cave (Fourth Armor)
6. Air Force Base (Falcon Armor) [L+]
-. Dynamo (Zero)
7. Jungle (Falcon Armor) [E+]
8. Space Trap (Fourth Armor) [E+]
-. Life Up Cleanup (Gaea Armor)
S. Shadow Devil (Falcon Armor)
S. Rangda Bangda (Falcon Armor)
S. Zero (X)
S. Sigma (Ultimate Armor)
Some of those L/E were not what I actually took, but what I think would be good to take in hindsight. I might try again with Zero as the starting character (just so we use Zero a little more and to make the game a little more interesting without the Fourth Armor being available), and I still need to come up with a 'Zero Only' order.
