The end came down to just Liz staring down the big guy. She shot an arrow at it and won.

The navy officer looks like he’s being propped up on Lewis’s chest and is pretty much only being held up by Leo’s weak-ass grip. Oh, and this is basically the Ship of STDs. Yikes.
And honestly if this guy has a plague why are Lewis and Leo like hugging on him...

it appears that Lewis carried Liz back safely.
Okay, Lewis is the best. I love him.
but part of growing up is learning not to believe in stupid stuff like that.

Liz seems a little annoyed and complains to Leo that no gods did anything; we're the ones that stopped the plague.
…Our group of little atheists. Which is unfortunate, since gods actually exist in their world. (Hell, the Holy Goddess Grace can grant them bonuses in battle!)
