Yayyy thanks for reading XD Yeah so many games get weird in localization... some games I think get better though. Like uh... FF10-2 I liked the English version because it had a lot more personality IMO. FF12 was great in English -- it was fine in JP too but the English VAs were better :O
I KNOW I HATE THE CURSORS SO MUCH like even the default glove thing is ugly like... ugggghhh. And they're all so HUGE too like... no just give me a normal cursor???
Um yeah muting just one character would be a great option in other games too XD It should be like a standard thing hahaha. I can't imagine it would be hard to implement, since all you have to do is have a flag for each character and have it check the flag before playing a sound clip... It would be like just a few lines of code really lol. The menu for the player to actually select who to mute would probably be the most cumbersome thing to make LOL
Yeah I used to change the color too to like ... pink or purple or brown but I have learned my lesson because I got so tired of killing my eyes with it XD
In Japan, blood types are like a ... personality horoscope trend thing. Live even more popular than star sign and stuff is in the west (well, IDK how popular it is there, but it's kind of obnoxiously popular here LOL) so it's really common to know your blood type and read like blood type horoscopes and judge people you've never met by their blood type lolol. Korea is like this too. I don't actually know my blood type, but I usually pick B the first time because B's are supposed to be assholes or something.
Ooh that's cool about the names. I wish games still had that kind of 'easter egg' spirit (haha it's easter today too) with stuff like that in them.
Yeah IDK if they're like expecting you to only pay attention to 1/3 of the lines or what, but they really like to repeat stuff...
Ahh damn I went to find the ugly screenshot but I must have deleted it already. Once I write an entry, I delete the relevant screenshots because I make a TOOONNNN while playing and they take up a lot of disk space. I also use OneDrive for them and I only have 5GB of storage on there or something and I'm always at like over 80% full because I have other crap on there too.
YEAH YOU CAN BE ENEMIES I will probably have enemies eventually so I'll just let that play out on its own so you can see XD It's not too terrible in this game but you do have to do a lot of bomb juggling (uh that will make sense later LOL). In Girl's Side, not only could the guys get mad at you, but if you befriended a girl and then get too close to the boy she likes, she'll get mad and like try to ruin your life and 'steal' the boy from you X_X It's terrifying LOL
LMAOOO omg the Dragon Age thing. "GET OUT OF MY FACE!!!" *long calm conversation about some magic or something with some laughing and stuff in it* "NOW WHAT YOU LOSER"
