SF2 is starting to test my patience. At least with SF1 I was able to mash hadouken and cheese my way through the last few bosses, but this one is... yeah. Since it was still a quarter-munching game and not, like, a legit competitive experience or whatever (lolol) they made the game get really cheap as you get near the end.

I'm on Guile's final fight before the 4 masters, which is against Ken, and it's near impossible. I also think they even start giving the computer priority on moves that shouldn't have priority. Like Guile's Flash Kick is supposed to have high priority, but literally everything counters it, and Tatsumakisenpukyaku has terrible priority when I use it, but nothing counters it when Ken is using it against Guile.

Sigh.

I've also been talking about Tokimeki Memorial with someone on twitch and it's making me want to play that XD But I'm not giving up on Street Fighter so easily !! I'll keep chugging away at it for a bit. I'm starting to think maybe I should just look up the endings of these early games instead of trying to win with every character... I mean I've beaten the game 3 times already. I can still get through as far as I can with each character so I can commend on them but I feel like I'm never going to make it through writing my next post if I keep at trying to beat everything legit XD

I don't know if the arcade versions had difficulty settings, but the anniversary collection doesn't let you play with the dip switches or anything anyway, so there would be no way to change it :,)
