OK, so watching the first one and writing about it hyped me up to watch the second one even though it's a little past my bedtime. Though sometimes I stay up til 3AM so it's ok right???
So Satoshi is at Tokiwa City. Kasumi is somehow right behind them, carrying the broken, burned-up bicycle. Why is she carrying it...???? LOL

Tokiwa is shown to be a sprawling city with all kinds of buildings. In the game there's like 3 or 4 buildings in Tokiwa, and hardly any people. It's not even that much bigger than Masara Town.
When Satoshi meets the officer (if they have names like Jenny and Joy in the JP version, they haven't mentioned them yet XD) she mentions that Satoshi is the 4th person from Masara to come to Tokiwa today (and in the previous episode, they also mentioned three other people getting Pokemon from Ookido). So I guess there are two other trainers besides Shigeru and Satoshi, though I don't think we're ever shown the other two.
Anyway, Satoshi makes it to the Pokemon Center and calls his mom, who is surprised he got there so quickly. We can assume he got here quickly because most of the way here he was running from Onisuzume as fast as possible, and then going as fast as he could to get Pikachu to the Center. But even going straight there as fast as possible, the other three trainers already got there before him...? XD I mean, in the game there's almost nothing between the two towns so I guess it's not that big of a deal, but Satoshi's mom mentions on the phone that it took Satoshi's dad a long time to make it to Tokiwa.
So we also get a mention of his dad... I don't know if he was ever mentioned in the English version for any reason? Probably, I just don't remember.

After talking on the phone to his mom, Satoshi notices these murals on the wall. The three birds look like the legendary trio of Kanto -- Freezer, Thunder, and Fire. The other one kind of looks like Windie...? It's weird because the colors behind the other match up with the types, while the yellow color behind Windie is usually associated with the Electric type.
When Ookido calls the center, Satoshi mentions having seen a Pokemon that looks like the one that looks like Freezer. Maybe that's why I didn't "believe" it could have been Houou before? IDK lol.
Also Kasumi smacks Satoshi yet again. Then they infer that Pikachu's condition is VERY serious, like he's going to die or something...

We get our first look at the Rocket Co. in this episode. When they attack the Center it's surprisingly destructive/violent??? It's overall kind of silly, though, with the stack of Pikachus and Pikachu powering up from the broken bicycle which is conveniently carried all the way there and for some reason generates a lot of electricity from pedaling it???????????????????
Oh and they made Satoshi throw out three different balls of random people's sick Pokemon before Kasumi stepped in. Then she just used Tosakinto and it flopped around on the ground?? And she said she was "distracting" Rocket Co. so the others could escape, but they all just stand there and don't even try to escape until AFTER the distraction is over????? LOL very silly.

The episode ends in Tokiwa Forest where Satoshi (who is still being followed by Kasumi) encounters a Caterpie and decides to throw a ball at it right away, despite learning that that's 'not how it works' from his encounter with Poppo in the first episode.
Either way, CATERPIE HYPE.
Overall, a decent episode. The Rocket Co. part was kind of exciting despite being silly, and we get to see a little more of the Pokemon world, which is the main point of the episode I think. Not as great writing and pacing as the first episode, but still cool.
And now it's bedtime :)
ETA: Also I wanted to mention that Satoshi refers to "Nurse Joy" as "Doctor" in the JP version. I wonder why they were changed to "Nurse" in the English...?
