So, Isky and friends have headed toward Circle. But it seems Greagoir (sp?) is not letting anyone in. Understandable, since they are gonna invoke the Kill Everyone thing.



This super-annoying asshole was guarding the place; wouldn't let us take a ferry and was super strict about it. Then Sten gave him cookies and he let us go. How stupid is that????????????? I was really annoyed lol it wasn't even funny... he was so adamant about it and let us cross for some mere cookies?



Isky cares about his fellow mages a little more than he cares about rules. Maybe before when he was in the tower, he would have even thought these kinds of people should be turned in. But even though he doesn't feel he has changed too much, he's changing a lot...

BTW I meant to do some of these sidequests before I went into the tower but I ... forgot or something? And just went in ... oops :( I hope I'm not underleveled... or do things scale level in this game?



Tower! Isky is returning home...



Isky meets Greg again. While he didn't like Greg a ton because Iv didn't like him that much, he still respected him because he is a rules-man, and Isky is happy to see him again because he's just happy to see familiar faces and be back home, even if there's bad stuff going on.



One hard thing about playing as Isky is that he's not curious and doesn't like to pry. So he doesn't want to push the matter about Jowan because he realizes it must have been a big deal to Greg since he did the bad blood bop, and doesn't say anything about it. But as the player I really wanted to say something like #5.

But Isky said #1 lol.



Greg just staring at the ceiling or something. Everyone is so bad at eye-targeting in this game like they're always just looking off in weird directions when it's very inappropriate lolol.



Anyway, Isky believes that Greg believes everyone is dead or hopeless, and doesn't feel that there is a reason to say any of these antagonistic things, so I was left with few options ... but Isky cares about his home friends and offers to try to search for survivors.



Yay, something Isky would actually say or think! We met cool Wynne who is handsome and lovely older woman (with the same awkward giant boobs/butt body model as every other woman in the game lol... and wearing the same boob-outline outfit XD)



Also Isky got to ask about Iv, which is something he'd do, too... in fact, it was the main thing on his mind this whole time so I'm glad the game let him ask lol. Wynne thinks Iv is definitely alive.



Isky agrees to help Wynne. But!!! His respected friend Morrigan gets upset. ("Hold your tongue, harpy!" LMFAO) He says #3 btw. But no matter how much Morrigan explains why she feels like the mages of the circle don't deserve to be saved, Isky cannot understand her perspective. These are his family. And he was once just like them. Even if they allow themselves to be corralled, that is their choice and it should be respected. Isky still doesn't really recognize how little choice the mages themselves have in the matter, but apparently neither does Morrigan.

Another option (which I guess I failed to screencap) made me either just blatantly agree with Morrigan (which Isky would not do) or be extremely rude to her (which Isky also would not do). He ended up having to say that all people deserve to live, "even cruel people like yourself." The other options were closer to "yeah they should all die" or "shut up you toxic bitch" sooooo uhhhhh yeah.



Morrigan tuts and allows Isky to have her way. I don't know why she's so ... loyal? to Isky O_o But whatever. Since she doesn't seem very into it, our battle party is Leli and Big Man and Wynne.



This girl thinks the Templars should kill all the mages because she is a bit... radically churchy. Isky had trouble responding to this, too...



Isky was sorrow-staring at this girl's neck and chest a lot.



Then he sorrow-stares at the barrier Wynne made.



And we're off, fighting abominations and stuff. These three were really easy but of course I'm worried about what will happen soon. There were only three. I'm sure eventually they're going to make like 17 come at me, with another three groups of 5 flanking from all sides, too.

For some reason they targeted Leli for a while, and she ran around in circles while they chased her and never caught up lol. But Big Man had trouble whacking them. eventually they turned back on Big Man and they were really easy to fight. I forgot to check on Wynne's abilities and equipment and stuff oops.

Then I had to go eat so I haven't gone on. Also a side note, I must have accidentally saved over the file before I gave the gifts because all three of my save files were after gifts???? So now everyone already loves Isky because he gave them stupid shit that he picked off some weird gnome. Oh well XD

Thought about buying some arrows before heading in, but I decided not to, so Leli is stuck with her little knife. Maybe I should switch Alistair in XD

Anyway, gonna play more now that I'm done eating.

Yeah I guess that's true, no one would even be coming to the circle anyway, and if they do, Greagoir seems pretty content to send them off to their deaths anyway. Or they will just see what's going on and be like "Haha jk bye"

Hmmm yes good beard fanart would probably change my mind quite a bit. Do you remember long ago when I drew you a really bad naked Duncan? I can still picture that in my head and it makes me cringe XD

Yeah, I feel like they only had like two appearances for women in the game like... porn model or severely handicapped elderly woman, so they had to give her the porn model appearance like all the other girls and just color her hair and say yes this is fine. But it's good enough, it's just a minor gripe. There's a lot of graphical weirdness in the game so I can't complain over that one thing XD

LOL yes exactly xD Most people are scared of mages anyway, and when you hear all the stories from mages you get the impression their own families won't show up even so... he's probably just dumped there for being a tit. Like when you give a child something really pointless to do but tell them it's super important so they fuck off and shut up xD

LOL I saw a psych. experiment involving kids and sweets... idr what it was actually about, but it was about a 50/50 split whether the kids would take the sweets or rat you out LOL

yeah I am trying to draw things for cards now to sell as some extra money, and I'm thinking about having a stall near Xmas but omg so much work...and it's never good LOL

Where would you have the stall? I feel like it's even harder to find motivation and harder for the drawings to actually come out well when you're doing it for money for some reason lol. Actually, I learned about this before in how adding extra incentives to things that were beyond the original reason you started doing the thing makes it harder and makes you lose motivation??? Like a psychological thing. So like if you start drawing because it's fun and you like making pictures, but then you start trying to do it for money, you will not have fun and it will be harder because of too much incentive or something? Or like extra incentive? I don't really remember now but it made sense when I was learning about it.
