Isky go boom :(



So, Isky and friends continued further into tower... there was lots of scary stuff. Owain was inside, cleaning a lot, and told us about... Niall or whatever. I want to be a Tranquil honestly.



Rule #1 of begging for your life: always make a sultry pose. I've come to realize that Isky has trouble making decisions. He's a very, very confused little mage. He wants to follow the rules but he doesn't want to hurt people. At this point, he's not worried about impressing or being loyal to Iv. He has no idea what Iv even wants right now. So he doesn't know what to do.

Isky has never really had to make decisions for himself. He always followed orders before. Agency, in a way, scares him. He knows that blood mages are bad, but he also hates to kill people. This girl doesn't seem that bad, right? And I mean, she's promising she'll not do bad stuff...

In the end, Isky let her go. But it took a lot of convincing.



He even said #3 here. Actually, I feel that's a very Isky thing to say. In a way, Isky was hoping that she would just ask to die instead. It would mean he wouldn't have to make the decision anymore. But she didn't. And she managed to convince Isky to let him go.



Crossing arms + sorrow stare lmfao.



Isky finds Iv's office... he feels very sad to see it all torn up. Isky misses Iv and has a moment of sadness to himself. He finds a weird box near Iv's desk.



Remember, no summoning during library maintenance!

Isky meets sex demon thing.



Isky and Leli both seem to not know what to do. If they fight, the man dies anyway. If they don't fight, the man lives, but is under the demon's control... but is happy? It's very difficult to make a decision.



Big Man tells Isky there is no problem since the man is happy. Wynne argues that it is not real happiness if he didn't make the choice himself. Isky understands what Sten means, but agrees with Wynne. He doesn't feel it's right to leave the man controlled like this.

Isky spends a lot of time talking with the demon, hoping he can persuade her to let the man go. But the demon lives by his energy, so she can't do that right? In the end, Isky decides to let her go. He would rather he live a happy albeit controlled life than die because Isky wasn't sure if he agreed with the demon. Leli seemed to come to the same conclusion.



FINALLY NO MORE BOOB-WINDOW ARMOR FOR ISKY :D!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Also this one is pretty nice looking; I like the colors.



Then Isky meets this Resident Evil crossover thing... for some reason it had a very sexy voice??? And it's bulky and messed up looking so I ended up being attracted to it and why do I always like things like this??



There was a man on the ground and Isky asked what happened. The demon thing said it would be good to go asleep too. It didn't sound threatening but then everyone was freaking out and saying "MUST RESISSTTTT" and stuff lol.



It talked some more and Isky fell asleep....



Then Isky go to dreamland. But he doesn't know he's in dreamland, because Kirby is not there.



Isky's crush Duncan and 2nd most important after Iv is there????

Isky is starting to realize where he is. Duncan is here so they need to fight the Darkspawn right? That's what he joined the Grey Wardens for...



But this Duncan is weird. Isky loves Duncan a lot and knows something is wrong. Fake-Duncan gets mad and scolds Isky. So Isky knows something is up. He starts to remember that he was with some friends before he got here. Where did they go? Maybe fake-Duncan knows.



But instead fake-Duncan wants to kill Isky :( Fight, Isky!!! For Everlasting Peace!!



Having to fight fake-Duncan is kind of traumatizing for Isky :( He is very scared :(



Isky remembers that real Duncan is dead when he sees fake-Duncan dead. He takes a moment to mourn for his beloved Duncan.



Then Isky goes to the Fade. He remembers this place and does not like it. He wants to get out fast. But he can't. He can't at all. He meets Niall who clearly finds Isky attractive and keeps looking him up and down. Also Niall is depressed and Isky can't cheer him up.



Then some weird wtf thing happens....



This thing scared me irl lol I like jumped.



Isky ran all around this place and learned how to become a rat and a 'spirit.' The spirit form is kinda sexy too.

However, being the rat or spirit is super annoying and stupid and Isky hates it and wants to go home back to circle even if it's a scary mess.



Isky encounters all kinds of weird shit like floaty bookcases and chains and fires and stuff. There are darkspawn here and all kinds of other weird stuff...



Including this thing which picks Isky up and pummels him to death.

And since Isky died that is the end of Isky adventures, it was fun, but it's all over now, never to continue. The end. XDDDD

But seriously I'm so tired and this place is confusing and big and I can't do it right now xDD

ROFL that was exactly my thought process the first time I got to this bit xD I think the game writers know this is what you want to do so in a way I like that it basically ropes you into making a decision instead of being able to get out of it.

Omg that summoning sciences... I actually only did that the last 3-4 Pts I did...the other times I just missed it out xD I even memorised how to do it

I feel bad for hating Niall but I wish he wouldn't speak tbh he's very upsetting and speaks way too slowly. I am … I feel like you can be depressed and depressing but pls finish a sentence within half an hour pls thx. I hate slow talkers more than anything xD

The Fade bit you are in is super annoying. There is a specific order to do it in that makes it easier but I can't remember now. IDK it's a sensory memory lol so when I played it last time I remembered exactly what to do and where all the secret bits were to get bonus stats but I can't think off the top of my head. I think you need to be a burning man before the spirit bit... IDK feels like cheating to look it up lol

I didn't even realize the summoning science thing was a thing you can do, I just thought the book was funny XD I tend to click the codex thing when it pops up that I have a new thing and then if it's not long I might read it XD

Yeah Niall I was annoyed at as a player because I appreciate how he feels but someone who has given up is not going to just prattle on about it for 5 hours, they would not even bother to talk about it because they don't care. Well maybe he secretly cares, I guess it does seem like he gets little sparks of hope as you progress in there. Like when he found out I could be a rat, he was so excited lol. I don't dislike him, though, but yeah, I wish he'd go faster. Isky wants to save him of course, especially since he might hold the secret to finding and saving Iv.

Well, I have a feeling I'm just going to have to backtrack a lot because I'm not going in the 'right order' but I think things like this are fun to figure out on your own the first time. Then the more you do them you can master them and I just like that kind of feeling???

I think the summoning science has other parts ...or maybe that is something else. No I am sure it is this. There are other parts to it you can find later if you come back to the circle after you have cleared it. I read it all but it's really annoying to do on console (maybe it's easier on PC IDK) because it doesn't save where you are, and it joins all the codexes up so you have to keep opening the journal, find the codex, scroll down to the bit you were at and then action that part ... I could have just written it down BUT WHO DOES THAT.

LMAO yes I know stfu, Niall XDDDDDDD He got a bit happier when you say you found a way you might be able to escape but then he got sad again and I was like... OK WHATEVER SHUT UP BYE. I really stopped giving a shit at that point; the only reason I cared at all was because I encountered him in the circle before I left it (I spoke to every single person before I left lol that's how I got to flirt with Cullen yayayayayayayayayyyyyyyyyyy) but he drained all the care out of me xD I was like...have you even tried because you were just stood there when I got here so wtf, mate.

It doesn't really matter what order you do it in, it's just more annoying to do it in the "wrong" order because you have to backtrack. I like to figure it out at first too... once I've done my test playthrough, figuring everything out on my own then I can do the 2nd PT which is the "real" one LOL I never do sidequests in the test PT - I just do story, and then PT2 I am careful and do as much a I can by myself and then after that I maybe look up extras and things.

Yeah the book says something about being torn apart or whatever XD I actually like writing stuff down as I play but I often forget, or rather I think I'll remember. I drew the hugest map when playing Ys 2... And next time I play I'll definitely have to reference it because the place is huge and confusing.

yah I had met Niall before too, I guess, because we talked about knowing each other when I ran into him there XD I was just like "Oh, okay, yeah I know him >_>" and I remember Cullen though because he was indeed cute and I remember his name because I feel like you and other people talk about him a lot LOL. I miss him already XD And yeah it seems like Niall doesn't even try he just pouts about how he exhausted all his options when he... didn't even make effort yet LOL I mean that's probably what I would do though so...

I don't really distinguish between test and real pt, I guess they are just all test pt, until I feel like I've done about all I can on my own or the joy of discovering things on my own is no longer there, then I will start looking stuff up to see what I missed and how to do stuff better and stuff. But I can often play many pts before reaching that point. Sometimes I'm stubborn and never reach that point LOL

I used to write things down - I remember a lot of PS2 games I had actually had space in the manuals at the back for your notes.
Now nobody even has manuals! I had a book of recipes for Shinobido... it was great xD

LOL I only remembered that I remembered Niall the 2nd time I played as a mage because ...idk the first time you're just rushing about and getting to know things I guess. But whatever, he talks so slow and that is probably my most hated habit after chewing with your mouth open XDDDDDD

Cullen Cullen Cullen Cullen Cullen Cullen! I love him so much ;0; He's so cute and awkward in Origins, it's really nice to see him develop over the 3 games. Also yeah like I said he was like wowowowow in the 3rd one xD

LOL I always have a test but I still make loads of effort with the character creation XD I just like to have a run through the main story quickly so I can see how attached I can be allowed to be to the characters LOL I just assume the ones I like will die, and I can't be dealing with that. So I need a quick testy test to see who dies and then I can play properly and love the ones who are safe xD

Wow, games still had note pages in the PS2 era? I think I stopped looking at manuals by then, but I know they had them commonly in the SNES era... I even remember in the back of the Donkey Kong Country book they had Cranky Kong saying "Who even uses these note pages anyway?!" LOL. I always took notes on my own paper though XD I used to have Mega Man passwords everywhere. I remember I had like a whole notebook dedicated to UNLIMITED:Saga LOL

LOL slow talking gets really frustrating for me, too, particularly when I don't want to be talking (which is like 99% of the time). Dennis talks really slow and tends to ramble and repeat himself so sometimes I just want to like interrupt him and say GET TO THE POINT but of course I don't do that LOL

Cullen is fun I've really enjoyed him XD

LOL test to see who dies XD I am okay with getting attached and then them dying, I guess. Though sometimes I lose my motivation to play past that point. But I'd do that even fi I was just rushing through to see so XD

LOLLLLLLLLLLLL omg slow talking is the worst I can't even... with my dad I just interrupt and am like "PLEASE FINISH THIS STORY TODAY!!!" XD This patient called yesterday and was telling me his whole life story and I was nearly crying because I was so frustrated and just wanted him to get to the point XDDDD Legitimately, eyes watering and anxious chest tightening lol

haha no I can't do it xD I quit the game if someone I really love dies and I've invested tons of time in doing everything in the game. THIS IS NO LONGER WORTHY OF MY ATTENTION. Whereas if I test play then I can prepare for it, and I also have time to make up stories about WHY THIS NEVER EVER HAPPENED.

Yeah, I get that frustrated over slow-talking too LOL. I get dizzy and like tense up really bad and stuff. If it's just that they say words slow but they a pretty concise, I guess that's okay, but when they just prattle on and explain irrelevant details and tell side-stories that have no point and take like 10 minutes to say something that was literally one sentence necessary... that's when it really bugs me. But once I've been like... bothered by it once in a day I'm super impatient with anyone talking to me and if people don't make everything as short as possible I'm like "JUST SAY IT NOW SDKGJSLKDGJ"

The thing is, I'm really horrible at getting to the point and tend to ramble and etc. so idk why it bothers me so much when I do the exact same thing. I usually don't realize I'm doing it, and will try to stop myself if I do, but... XDDD It's funny because I hate it so much but I'm really bad about iy myself.
