LETS GO!!! Let's bang the beardly old king!!
I started a new game and saved over the old one I was saving to test stuff out. Oh well :)
The teddies got Attitude to 165. Now it's time to start dancin'~
Got to 100 Stamina within 6 months (first half of October) so it's time to send a 10 year old to work at a bar.
Peddler came so I was checking what I needed and realized my plan didn't account for raising Pride at all :) :) :) Looks like we're going to have to do some martial arts training once we get all this other stuff out of the way. Hopefully there's enough time. I did buy the Fruit of Glory to get +50 Pride at least...
Wow, Lisa is being very needy... she asked to go to a Dance Class (I let her, should have said no) which tanked our money to 200G. Then while working, she asked for a bouquet! I didn't want to say no since we would need those eventually anyway, so I just said yes... then we had like 80G T_T
At age 12, in December, we reached the needed Elegance (at 520). So it's time to start spending all our money on bouquets, going to Etiquette Class again when Elegance drops below 500.
Age 13 in June, we now have 496 Charm. We'll pick up the other 4 points we need in Bar work, so it's time to start working on Pride. Dance Class is the best method for raising Pride, but it's not THAT great (nothing is) and we have to make sure Etiquette Class is taken more often than Dance Class... going to be tough balancing these. And we need a whopping 500 Pride. We're only at 243. Eep.
I think I'm going to keep on doing Dance Class until we hit the right amount of Pride, then we can go back to Etiquette Class to get it done more times than Dance.
OK, Age 14 February, we're finally at 500+ Pride. Now the only stat left we need is an Attitude of 700. That's... a lot. But teddies are cheap and we'll be buying teddies to get it there. So hopefully it shouldn't take too long...
Well a little into Age 15 we hit 700 Attitude.
There's one more requirement I forgot to mention -- we have to work as a palace maid at least once. It wasn't hard to do; we worked as a maid once and were introduced to the job, then worked at it.
Now all that's left is to get our Etiquette Class more frequent than our Dance Class. We've done Dance like 31 times or so, and Etiquette only 19 times... so we have a LOT of Etiquette left to do.
I might be able to fork this ending and get the Princess ending... it actually has mostly lower requirements if you manage to meet the Prince yourself (the requirements are really high if you don't meet the Prince over the course of the game). Meeting the Prince is not too hard, you just have to know how to do it... and with everything we've done so far, all I need left to do is to just work as a Palace Maid about 10 more times and we'll meet him.
I might even be able to fork and get the Queen ending...?! But we'd need to get to 500+ Intelligence by the end, which would be kinda hard (though we could buy lots of Poetry Books...)
Anyway, I am tired and gonna go to bed now. Etiquette Class can wait for tomorrow...
OK I'M BACK AT IT!!!
I got a 100 on the etiquette exam and got a 1000G scholarship?! And stress went down to 0 (it was getting pretty high too). Cool!!
When Charm hit 900, we got a "pile of gifts" from admirers, landing us another 760G. We're rich !!!! Well, not really rich as we're keeping ourselves poor with all this Etiquette class XD
Won the Cherry Blossom festival and got 3000G. We'll never have to work again at this rate XD
The peddler came so I looked at the requirements for the South Kingdom and Rabbit Princess ending and I should be able to fork to those as well. My save at slot 4 will be for that. Slot 5 is going to be my working save toward this ending. 1, 2, and 3 I'm not sure what I had planned for... I can probably fork 4 into the Ruling Queen as well. Actually, I can probably fork 4 into the Princess ending, as well, so I don't even need saves 1-3 lol.
Well, now it's just riding out the end of the game to get the ending.
Did it :D Sadly beardman didn't appear in the ending, just the consul dude showed up and said the king wanted to marry her -_-
OK Let's try to get the forks. Next up is Ruling Queen, the 'best' ending in Princess Maker 1. We basically just need to get Intelligence to 500 while keeping Elegance at 999.
Tutoring seems like the best option for work. It only lowers Vitality, which we need 500+, but we already have 750+, so hopefully it won't lower it that bad by the end of the game. I THINK we should have unlocked it after I spent all the savings to get Intelligence to 300+ (just barely though).
Yup, buying some books and then waiting out the end of the game got us the Empress ending. Now to go for the Princess endings, but it's time to eat.
