wah wah wah I want to rant about how unnecessary and extra rich people can be but I don't have the energy.

I guess when you have a lot of money you have to do something with it. So you spend like $1000 on something you could get an equivalent of for $10 just for the sake of spending money or something. And think you're doing something 'special.' It's annoying lmao

Like, give your money to people in need. Why are you doing this?

really stupid rsg3 headcanons

The wait for RSG3 is painful hahaha. I have no interest in doing anything else so I'm just sitting here trying to find things to do but I get sick of everything within minutes. I'm always like this when I'm anticipating a new thing...

It's funny because this is a game I've played plenty before it's just in English now ^_^

I got my website up and running again (as in, on localhost, not online) after figuring out what was causing the database errors. So now I can reference my own site for RSG3 info which is a lot more convenient than what else is out there. Too bad I couldn't pay for the hosting and have it live for the release of the English version so other people could use it D:

Anyway, I've been thinking about who to use as my main character for my fuzzy harem party. In the play diaries I used Mikhail, but that was mostly because I wanted to do Mikhail first since he has a unique intro and stuff, and I was making that stupid hack to give him a beard.

But I'm not using said hack now of course, and I don't care about the exposition of using Mikhail first, so I think I'm going to go with Monika. I want the central character to be someone who I can see as the actual... leader? recipient? of the harem, not just a random character. There's no fuzzy-faced protag so I can't just go with that.

I'm not really into any of the male protags in general, and I headcanon two of them as straight and one as ace so that just leaves, well, Mikhail. And it's hard to imagine him really being interested in this weird pack of old dudes.

Which, of course, it doesn't really make sense that Monika would be into the weird pack of old dudes (especially since she turned down the arranged marriage to the Duke of Zweig, despite him being a fine fuzzy-faced gentleman himself), but it makes sense that a weird pack of pervs might be interested in her.

( and now a bunch of rambling about the excuses I use to imagine characters banging each other )

Oh, yeah, the playthroughs. I'll have to rethink through this again. The ones I definitely want to do

Fuzzy harem party:
Monika, Herman, Tiberius, Ward, Fake Robin

Non-human party:
Sarah, Young Boy, Peony, Flurry, Rukh, Boston

BAMF ladies party:
Ellen, Undine, Muse, Nora, Zhi Ling, Sarah

Mage party:
Thomas, Bai Meiniang, Muse, Undine, Fullbright, Tiberius

Mysterious party:
Katarina, Robin, Leonid, Minstrel, Tatyana, Muse

That leaves:

Julian, Khalid, Mikhail, Charl, and Paul.

Julian's party would be sensible to be kind of rag-tag with Tatyana, Charl, and Paul easily. We could fill it up with like... Thomas and Boston or something. Maybe it could be a "people who make sense to join the party" playthrough with Julian. So, uh... wow, that's going to be hard to come up with six.

Or I could do all the Shinon settlers (Julian, Thomas, Ellen, Sarah) sticking together. That would be kind of cool. Then two characters who make sense to join the party. One would definitely be Tatyana, since she forces herself into the party. Though uh it kinda doesn't make sense since Julian splits up from everyone because of the Monika thing? But I guess they could get back together?

Uh, who else even makes sense? Ward, Charl, and Zhi Ling join temporarily, but part ways afterward. It would make more sense for Charl to stay with Muse. Zhi Ling probably isn't highly interested in leaving Xuan Chen. Ward doesn't seem to have anything better to do, so maybe him? Or maybe a rando like Boston. Boston is a really fun character to use anyway. And Boston actually has a reason for leaving with the party, as he wants to see more of the world or something. He doesn't just... join up for no reason. Oh, there's also Herman -- actually Herman would make the most sense, as he also forces his way into the party if you go that route, and becomes unable to kick out.

That just leaves Khalid and Mikhail. The two of them kinda go together, too. So when I get to those playthroughs I can just kinda throw in whoever, maybe make a team that revolves around completionism (having all knowable weapon arts, for example). A more gameplay-themed team instead of an aesthetic theme. Or maybe some kind of challenge run (only using swords or something like that?)

Well that wasted a good 45 minutes or so. Tomorrow I'll watch Full Gear which will take up a couple hours lol. Then I don't know what I'm going to do for the rest of the day. I would volunteer to clean the toilets or something but I spend all day Thursday and Friday doing all the household chores I could think of :P

I've tried playing various games (Stardew Valley, Letter Quest, Romancing SaGa 2, Mega Man, Super Mario Bros, Puyo Puyo Champions, The Last Remnant, Diablo 3, Kingdom Hearts Final Mix, Catherine... probably some others) and I'm just like NO I WANNA PLAY RSG3 it's soooo stupid why am I like this.
