Thanks to all my extra EXP, Masami realized I was good at watering or whatever and gave me her watering can :D If you just do the needed watering, it would take forever to get to this point honestly XD

Liberta talks about wine a lot lol... but it's funny how he's in the town hall like... complaining about the mayor. The daily function of the town hall is for the citizens to give their feedback to Charles. Liberta is in there a lot. So I guess he goes to town hall and complains about stuff like every day XD

This is the broken bridge. This is pretty much what I'm "working on" now in the story. Basically the "story" can progress every Sunday in-game. That's the day you go to Dr Hope for your examinations, where he'll give you some repairs or whatever, and often someone will come by to visit Life for some reason. This basically gives you direction on the story. You usually have some kind of deadline to finish what the person wants or do whatever is needed to move the story forward, then when you visit the next story, it will happen. The first week is more of an introduction to the whole go-on-Sundays-for-your-exam thing. Moonlight takes a broken BattleBot to Dr Hope to fix.



Liberta won't let you bother him when he's drinking alone... which is like... all the time. Except when he's at poetry class.

Also, for some reason him sitting here at this white table in a black suit reminds me of this scene from Die Flemming Saga where Rudolf Rogers plays the father of the main character, and she gives him a blowjob sitting out a white table and he's wearing a suit kinda like that?? Also Rogers has a big mustache too so... LOLOL Honestly it's not that similar but somehow it reminds me of that XD





Then max invited me for a run :D And I went running around with him XD I love Max... maybe I should add him to the humpchart too XD



Not sure exactly what he means, as this is a pretty classy bar (and it's a restaurant and poetry club thing on Sundays XD) but it's cute that he's so worried about his wife. As long as she's okay with him coming in every night XD She doesn't complain about it or say anything, so I'm sure she is XD

My asparagus came in :D I have a lot of crops planted... all of them are slow-growers, though. I used the profits from the asparagus to buy some potatoes and turnips which do grow fast, though. After I spent most of the money on getting a hammer though :) Next goal is the axe...

TBH I feel like he's probably being honest here, and more annoyed that people would think he just wants to check out the gal, and he's really interested in writing poems. Though he probably doesn't mind looking at Masami either, really, lol.

After going to Hope's this Sunday, Gayak came and told me to get ready for the festival by planting crops other than potatoes and turnips. Of course, I've already started growing plenty of cabbage, cucumbers, and strawberries. I'm also growing some flowers. But yeah, I'm already ahead of the game :P All I have to do is ship some of any crop that isn't potato or turnip in two weeks... I already shipped asparagus before even seeing this lol... this first mission is kinda slow. We also learn that Dr Hope is still repairing the BattleBot. Maybe it will be fixed next week. I forget. I'd really like to get the key to the southern cave or something. Though the bridge will be fixed once we have the festival.

BTW, I'm not sure if the pics are working? I'm hosting them on OneDrive and IDK if I need to set them to public or something. Please let me know if you can see them.

I’ve run into this with a few of my chef friends. They’re not huge on making big meals outside of their business life, except for special occasions, because they’re cooking all day long hahah.

LOL omg if there was an everyone-is-robots plot twist that would be really interesting LOL. They could all be failed experiments by Dr Hope, and he actually created an entire island of soulless robots who only care about autofarming and capitalism and that's what angered the Spirits XD And as Life becomes more 'human,' the finally-successful robot, using his knowledge and experience he starts to realize that he may be the only "real human" on the island.

Ooh, that's interesting. My mom is a chef and loves cooking even outside of work, and other people I know who work in kitchens or whatever like cooking too. My brother sometimes does line cook work (when he can actually find work) and whenever he has a cooking job he likes to cook way more outside of work, too. But I feel like I would DEFINITELY be the opposite. When I have to do something for work, I can't stand doing it any more than I have to. Like when I used to make a living off commission artwork, I hated even thinking about drawing for fun.

Maybe if Life tries to pick up the phones he'll get connected to the Digital World XD He's a robot so does the Digital World exist like... inside himself... O_o???

I'm fine with Liberta's drinking problem, hahaha. He seems a little ... eccentric and lonely to me. I also like to headcanon him as drinking himself to sleep because you know, them deep sleepers XD May as well be canon because everyone in this game is tired it seems lol. Except Max, he's ready to run laps around the entire freaking island it seems XD

I've gotten about halfway through the story before I think. It's been a LONG time since I really played this game extensively enough to get far. When it was new (like 10 years ago, I preordered) I played a TON but I was really bad at doing the story and kept failing my objectives and made it take longer. I know I got to the Winter before at least. But I was also behind on the story. The island is pretty big and navigating it can be hard in the beginning. But I know where a lot of stuff is now and am just in general better at the time management stuff. But there's also a lot I've forgotten about the game, especially re: the story, so I'm pretty much experiencing it anew this time :) I remember up to the Fire Spirit Festival thing because usually when I replay I get to about there before moving on. Last time I quit it was only because I had an issue with the emulator that when I needed to go to a certain area for a certain event, it would always crash. I'm using a different version of the emulator now which crashes a lot less, so we'll see how it goes. I have the game and a PS2 but I can't carry that around with me... and since I need to move around a lot (moving between rooms at my dad's apartment and moving between the apartment and Dennis's house every week) it's just not practical to play games on consoles anymore. Though I did recently bring my PS3 back from Dennis's (where I never played it anyway) and am thinking of setting it up in my room at my dad's to play FF13 again or something.

Yeah, it's the three of us in this apartment, and then me and Dens at his house. I spend about equal time in both places (about half the week each; it's on a schedule lol)

LMAO omg I do stuff like that, too. UM it gets really bad when you're using another language and the words overlap ??? Like uh when I do a lot of Japanese stuff like sometimes I'll start seeing English as like... Romanized Japanese and so simple words like "are" I will read as Japanese words and just it makes NO SENSE and I'm like "WTF IS THIS IS THIS EVEN A LANGUAGE"

Hehhehe Liberta is that kind of person who drinks too much, then you have to help carry them home. And of course it would be rude not to put him to bed, right? And I mean, he can't very well sleep in his suit, that would be rude to leave him like that... XDD Yeah, I've totally never thought about this before ever 9_9

And yes Masami is gorgeous XD I'm curious how old she's supposed to be, since she's Gallion's wife and Gallion looks like ~60-70.

I'm glad I managed to catch the character arts from the website... all the screenshots and wallpapers are gone, and some of the other images and assets... The game is 10 years old now and they probably don't care to maintain the website XD And no one really likes/knows this game so I can't find the character arts anywhere but on the main site. And they're on this stupid animated thing so I had to take screenshots and crop them all...

hahahah I used to do the same ALL the time! It's not so bad now because I don't really use German, but I used to mix up words all the time and replace English ones with German ones, or typing work things up I'd put in a German word or spell an English word in the way a German might??? Like, replace "SH" with "SCH"?! LOLLLL though reading it as romanised japanese... I bet it sounds legit though if you read it out loud XD

AHHH YES I LOVE HER. She looks like... I could believe if she was in her 40s, I think? LOL i had to screencap and crop everything off the last Samurai Warriors site too because they use stupid flash animations so you can't save, and every time a new game comes out I'm desperate to see the new designs <3

omg yeah I'd mix up Japanese or Korean words in English a lot when I was using them a lot it was awful, and I'd often not even notice I'd do it??? What was even more messed up was when it was some false cognate like in Japanese lamps are called "stand" and I would like... forget the word "lamp" and call it "stand" and stuff like that and it would just sound so messed up LOLLLL And yeah I'd do weird grammar things like leave out articles and stuff or say words out of order LOL

Yeah, 40s sounds about right to me honestly, that's what I would have guessed at least. They don't really mention ages in the game at all, soo X_X
